Dressings

We hope you'll enjoy the following recipes.
Garlic  

Note:
Our patients need salad dressings that are milk-free and sugar-free. These recipes can be hard to find.


VINAIGRETTE
1 cup olive oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 pkg. Sweet and Low (to taste)
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
Salt and fresh ground pepper
Chives

Place mustard in bowl and add vinegar as you stir or whisk. Add Sweet and Low, salt, pepper and herbs. Slowly drizzle in oil as you continue to stir or whisk.

GARLIC
2 egg yolks
1 cup red wine vinegar
3 pkg. Sweet and Low
2 finely minced garlic cloves
2 cups olive oil
1 tsp. fresh minced oregano
1 tsp. fresh minced basil anchovies (optional)

Combine all ingredients (except oil), blend well. Slowly drizzle in oil as you mix.

FRENCH
2 eggs
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
3 pkg. Sweet and Low
1 Tbs. dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 cup vegetable oil

Blend eggs, vinegar, Sweet and Low, salt and paprika 2-3 minutes until Sweet and Low is dissolved. Then slowly drizzle in oil as you continue to blend or whisk. Place in container and refrigerate.
